Dr Charlotte Hall

Charlotte graduated from Otago University, New Zealand and subsequently completed a doctorate from the University of Western Australia specialising in sedimentology and geochemistry. Her early geological career included extensive experience working in private mineral consultancies on global projects reaching from Australia to Vietnam to Canada.
She then joined the Geological Survey of Western Australia (GSWA) and was initially based in Kalgoorlie undertaking regional mapping projects in the Eastern Goldfields. A shift to a Perth-based role provided Charlotte with 3.5 years’ experience in government policy and land access for the resource industry.
Her current role as General Manager of Investment within the GSWA focuses on the strategic development of investment in the mineral and energy resource industry within Western Australia. This role includes managing the $16.5 million (annual) Exploration Incentive Scheme.
